Below you will find my take on the Stormraven Gunship. FYI the side gunners use a magnetic field to hold them and their heavy bolters to the hull of the plane. Please leave comments! Enjoy

Just because you can see what's going on, doesn't mean we can. Bad lighting and angle makes it difficult. How about a side close up of the gunner?

Personally, I'm not a fan of fully assembling the stormraven before painting -- I think it makes it nigh impossible to get all the details -- especially if you've opened both doors, you need to have the inside at least somewhat painted, since it will be visible from the side.

A suggestion on the fiddly canopy bits -- you can see that they're glued not quite level with the canopy on the larger, front one (can't tell with the back one with the glare) -- glue it in place first, paint it, and THEN put the clear piece in place.

I painted something along the same idea with a gunner on the side door -- I chose to face the gunner forward rather than the side, to give the vehicle more of a sense of motion (moving forward):

Yeah, little hard to see what's going on with the gunners from that pic.

Although it does look like they're in danger of having their guns taken out by the wing-mounted lascannons if they fire horizontally (like the guy at the port hatch)
