This thing just popped into my head a couple of weeks ago and I finally got him out.

I think you're off to a good start, for sure. But the model looks very flat and could use a lot of layering to give it more pop.

Also, is it supposed to be a Tervigon or Tyrannofex? The weapons dont add up.

I did say that it was corrupted by consuming Nurgle corrupted biomass. It is a Tervagon and Tyrannofex combined thanks to Nurgle. This was my first attempt at Tyranids and Nurgle work.

I love the idea of chaos-tainted Tyranids. You could even play them with special rules. Give some things slow and purposeful, replace Regeneration with Feel no Pain... Be creative.

I think that there would a lot more rules involved since this is a combination of two Tyranids and that it has two bioweapons, plus it can birth new Tyranids.

It's 40k, there are going to be a lot of rules regardless. If you want we could brainstorm it.

I would not mind a goof dialog on the subject. I am new to the game and I am always looking to learn. Just bear in mind, I do not play Tyranids. I just saw this critter in my mind and had to get it out.

Tyranids and Nurgle? So Tyrgle, then?

Love it though, it's a great concept and something underused in 40k fluff. Is anyone planning anything on the Ork/ Tyranid hybrids from that warzone?

Or Nyranids. Either way, I would like to see how this bugger plays out.

I like it, my own preference is to double down on creating a shine on the chitin plates, think it would really make this model look more organic as well.

I wanted the chitin to reflect that it was also corrupted by Khorne. I doubt that anyone can see it but it has gold highlights on all the chitin edges.
