The Raptors are a successor chapter of the Raven Guard, and according to their lore, actually rely on heavy firepower before assaults. Who knew there was actually a chapter that relies on its advanced technology for an edge? So I built the demi company with as much fire power as possible. Hope you like, and more to come.

@War Kitten and General Kroll- thanks gents, glad you like them. I have many more to posts. I decided to build a bunch of formations.

So here is the Vindicator and Predator. These are the only 2 tanks. The rest of the vehicles are flyers. But, hey, everyone needs a Vindicator, right?

I'm a little bummed out with the pictures. The green is actually far more drab. I need to figure out the lighting.

Try turning down your exposure on the camera a tad or putting a sheet of paper/tissue paper between your light source and the models, that should break up the glare and get a more natural colour.

What I can see looks good, nice use of spot colours on the hatches and lenses.

I was wondering what happened to you!

@Paradigm- I tried the pics from my display "closet". They may be a little nicer, green definitely came out better.

Now for the Raptor Wing. Notice the pilot and gunner on the speeder don't have the chapter symbol. The Forge World transfer sheet only had 70 for shoulder pads so I have to be choosy about who gets them. Anyway.........

These look great man! I'm actually doing Raven Guard, but all your formations are awesome! Is that an armored task force with the predators and vindicator? Very cool. I do like the raptor wing as well, one of the new formations that is quite possibly my favorite. Do you plan on making a Lias Issadon to run with your guys if you don't run the RG chapter tactics and new formations?

@Alaric- thank you too sir. I'm not making an armored task force because, frankly, I don't want to spend the extra money. Need a Techmarine and all. Not planning on any particular characters right now, mainly because I don't know how to play. I just like to paint and build stuff.

Refrained from posting because every time I look at your army you make me want to add to my Raven Guard with formations I haven't bought yet. Your work is stunning, they have turned out quite nice. I think your sternguard are one of the best you have done so far.

@Spacewolverine- thank you as well for the kind comments, very cool of you. I hear you on the formations, I was about to quit GW but building armies like this kinda rekindled the interest. Inexplicably. I mean it's the same models, right?

Some Terminators that were not assembled properly and I didn't notice until I had bought them. Damn eBay, it's what I get. Also a poor mans Librarius Conclave. It's the DV Dark Angel plus 2 kit bashes. I just couldn't bring myself to spend $75 or so on 3 guys.

Exactly, those Librarians kitbashed turned out great. One thing I love about Marines, its very easy to kitbash and get the same effect of high dollar characters and most of the time they come out 10x better.

Ok, I finished the army and took some pics which mostly turned out sideways. Let me see if one will post correctly....
