It is our pleasure to present to you our new crowdfunding for the Zenit Miniatures’ Kensei range of models. Kensei is a Samurai tabletop wargame set in the fantastic world of Himukai.
n this Kickstarter crowdfunding campaign we will create a great set of miniatures for a new Undead Army. These miniatures would be used in Kensei Miniature Wargame, but they could also be used in roleplaying games, other wargames or for artistic painting. We are also working on the Kensei rules for ever creature and character included in this campaign.

All the miniatures from this campaign are 28mm and will be made in high quality metal.

All the scenography is made in high quality resin.

Ooh, those are really nice. I especially like that they are not just skeletons in samurai gear, but zombie samurai. Armored zombies are rare enough, but zombie samurai might be even rarer. The fact that you have an entire army of them is extremely appealing to me. I just wish I had the money to spend.

I am waiting for the Uncharted empires book from Kings of War to arrive. It has army lists for almost all of GW's old Fantasy range armies. If an option like the Kingdom of Dust works with these samurai I am going to pick up enough figures for an army I think.

We are working in the game, making it easier and faster.
Also we have almost ready the new rules for the undeads.

Those look amazing, Would be a bit too expensive for a whole army, but I will gladly add a unit or two of them to my undead KoW army once they hit retail.

Kensei make some absolutely cracking feudal Japanese miniatures, these certainly look like a good offshoot of those - and really a cool concept.

I too would be interested with the possibility of using these for KoW !

I believe Juan Diaz is one of the sculptors for Kensei. He's the chap who did the old GW daemonettes.

At last we can show you the great miniature for the 200 Backers Stretch Goal. This mounted undead samurai have been scoulpted by Juan Diaz. Also we want to show you the Jubokko expansion stretch goal at 32K, a great miniature of 70mm. To end all this we added two extra Jikininkis to the 29K stretch goal and scenography buildings can be added individually to your pledge.

That undead samurai on horseback is simply exemplary. Actually, that seals it for me backing this KS, what a sculpt.

Actually freaked out by those 'Ringu' style ghosts in the video shot as well. Think those would be pretty unnerving to come up against!

On another note, that samurai is damn fine.

Just needs another 22 backers now to unlock the Cavalry dude.

Think this will be a great next project for a KoW force, but it will obviously work really well for WHFB as well.

New Core Sets and New Miniatures for the Samurai Clans!

Now you can choice the alive sets to play Kensei. We have included new releases unseen in our game until now in some of them. This core sets are not add-ons of the campaign (will not be included in the 525 pledge). Thanks for your support and your help in making this campaign a success. Share with your friends and lets unlock more stretch goals.

Great to see some more options available, and the different options are definitely more readable now.

I'm in at the basic core level at the moment but will no doubt pad that out with some extra stuff by the end, depending on what extras the Kickstarter unlocks!

I'm in for a core set, it looks to be great value and if we hit a few more stretch goals it'll be spectacular. I was pretty tempted by the Kensei Indiegogo but never pulled the trigger, but went in on the Nemesis Kickstarter and was very pleased with the loot I received from that campaign. Also, I just got a few minis today that I ordered in the Black Friday sale (the Oni and a couple of samurai), and they are great looking minis.

Really impressed with the models and the scenery - really sets the scene and evokes a sense of involvement in the setting rather than being another game - keep it up

I'm mildly confused , in the Otokodate lot there's something that looks like Rifle-wielding Samurais, but I can't seem to find a box like that on their normal website , in neither the otokodate category nor the "basic units" part
