Tyranids. But like sharks. Here's my Maleceptor. I had a lot of fun with this one. I love the model and hopefully will get some love next codex update. Next up is a Crone painted like a stingray.

Haha. I named my Fleet that and I'm all like "When did I buy and paint one of those?"

I like your scheme. It's looking pretty cool so far. The crushed casualty is really well done. It can be tough to pose them well sometimes.

Some additional detail to the carapace and an ink and drybrush to the basing would go a long way if you wanted to do some more work.

Gorgeous model you have there. Nice work

TheEyeOfNight- I swear, this thread is 70% smack talk, 20% RP organization, and 10% butt jokes
TheEyeOfNight- "Ordo Xenos reports that the Necrons have attained democracy, kamikaze tendencies, and nuclear fission. It's all tits up, sir."

Sternguard though, those guys are all about kicking ass. They'd chew bubble gum as well, but bubble gum is heretical. Only tau chew gum

My knowledge of mythical shark names is limited so I relied on google for that one haha I'm thinking of doing so free hand on the carapace. I did designs on my Dark Eldar vehicles and may try some Mapri influenced designs on the carapace. As for the sand, I'm worried that an ink may make it too dirty. I'll try a watered down sepia wash on a small portion. I'm going to take some of the warrior carapace "helmets" and put them in the water like they're surfacing.

Thank you! It was a spur of the moment purchase and paint scheme choice but "shark" popped into my head and I had to try it.
