I think there is some schmutz on the rim of your base? I can't really tell for sure though because your picture is so terrible.

Try focusing your picture, and my complete apologies if this is truly the pinnacle of your abilities.

I don't think he was being harsh and he did apologize for the way his comment may come off. He is right about the pic you can't tell because it's a bit out of focus.

Getting a better picture will help, using a white light that has a thin piece of paper over it, and putting the model with a white paper background helps the camera focus on the model. it is a way to push the limits of cameras that do not have a dedicated macro setting.

Please take it as advice for pictures and not a rude comment

From what I can see it looks pretty good. Can we get a little better picture of him please?

He kind of looks like a Jiralhanae (Brute) Chieftan from halo... or possibly a Titan from Destiny.

Is he made from the Roboute Guilliman model?

He has a Power Sycthe. Now that's attention to detail.

I too must ask for a better pic, we only see a very blurry miniature, a better pic would help us a great lot.

Love how you did the face and pulled off the pupils. nice work on the yellow, I really like that the ultramarine symbols are there, is well seen,since their parent chapter is Ultramarines. and the scythes symbol is more visable and eye catching(to me) than the ultramarines logo. My C&C would be maybe more shading for the yellow on the Abs.

how would you go about shadowing it?

Using a wash to fill the cracks in the abs, then hit the yellow again for the higher parts. brown is a great color for this and works well with yellow

Let me make up for that by saying; now that you have taken a better pic I think you've done a really awesome rendition on this model. I COULD NOT tell from you first pic that you were doing Scythes. Very cool. Soldier on FELLA!

That actually looks a whole heck of a lot better up close. As was said you should probably shadow a few parts of it, but it didn't look good from a distance.

I do have to be a pain in the ass and comment that successor chapters didn't have Primarchs.

Yeah, I didn't know if that was simply the best pic that could be taken. Some people have weaker cell phone cameras to shoot minis with, and that is all. Been there myself. I'm sorry you took it as harshness.

Their ultramarine successor's so guilliman is still their primarch
