Hi all!

The fall semester is over and it's time to paint! Managed to get this wizard Done in one day (on and off throughout the day). This is my first time trying the glowing eyes and painting a crystal ball, I think it came out pretty good. Thanks for looking.

Edited to add photo.

@ Kid, thank you. I really like the oxide technical paint from GW for simple OSL effects.

@ keezus, I started with a black base then added very thin Wazdakka red in a random swirl pattern leaving black gaps. Then I just built up highlights with evil Sunz scarlet, wild rider red, and finally a few dots of white scar. To finish it off I put a glaze of blood letter over it to bring it all together. Adding a gloss varnish from liquitex or ardcoat will make it shiny.
