Hi all,
A question about the RoBB. I've been painting the board with base coats prior to flocking and applying static grass.
Before I do the flocking and details however, there is something that is really off-putting - skulls, everywhere. Just flocking over them looks bizarre and knobbly.
I've been toying with the idea of filling in the area with Polyfilla - has anyone had any success with the stuff? Is there a better alternative to use?

I'd personally use green stuff as it has a bit more flex in it and doesn't chip.
Fill the skull pits with some offcuts of sprue or sheet plasticard to save on GS then just skim a thin layer and gently sculpt to match the existing texture.

Milliput is smooth-able, sand-able and cheap, fills the pits pretty well.

Ended up ordering Milliput off Amazon as it was a reasonable price compared to the Epoxy Putty available in B&Q when I visited.
Many thanks

I've used the milliput and first impressions are good! It's covered up the skulls well and is easy enough to sculpt.
(Ignore the dark brown and grey paint, they're first base coats before more realistic colours are applied)
