Today I got a Leman Russ, which I looted. I gave it the following guns:

Points: 140

Supa-Kannon
8 big shootas
1 rokkit launcha

I also will give it an 'ard case, armour plates, and a red paint job. Here are some kustom built rules.

BS: 3 (2 when moving more than 6")
Transport: 0 models
Front armour: 14
Side armour: 13
Rear armour: 11

Hull points: 4
Special rules: Don't press dat

Can shoot at different units.

Movement: normal

Shooting: when moving up to 6", it can fire everything. When moving 6-12", it cannot fire the supa-kannon. When moving flat out, it can only fire the rokkit launcha..

Tank shock: normal

What do you think?

Kinda hard to say whether its good or not without some sort of points values attached to the rules. I think you also forgot to assign how many hull points it has.

Seems like what you're aiming for might be better created via a kustom battlefortress to be honest. Looted stuff is kool but your tank has better rear armour than even demolishers, punishers and executioners with armour on par with a Baneblade, even though generally speaking most looted Ork stuff won't be as resilient as its original form given that its through makeshift jury-rigging and patch-ups that bring it back to life.

Otherwise I would suggest bringing it back down to the Leman Russ armour values of AV F14 S13 R10-11, take away its transport capacity and keep the guns you have currently and upgrade the killkannon to the supa-kannon (60" range, S9 AP3, large blast primary weapon) to gain more utility over just taking a battlewagon. Also you may want to clarify a bit more about the rule of the tank shooting when moving at 6" since technically speaking you can already fire everything when moving 6-12", just not at full BS. So you'll want to say that everything can fire at full BS when moving up to 6", regardless of other rules like ordnance on the Killkannon which makes all your other guns snapfire.

Looks good so far, although you might just want to round it to 140 points just so it looks even. Other than that it seems to shaping up nicely. I didn't realize how many big shootas you put on your tank! I was on my phone the last time I posted so it didn't show the pics properly. With that much dakka it might be hard to bring all that firepower to bear, perhaps have a rule where the big shootas get to shoot at separate enemy units? That way the other 3 or so that can't see an enemy unit don't get wasted.

Also not a bad first try at looting an Imperial tank, I like the Ork face plate you put on the cupola.

Yeah, a really nice loot! Maybe a few too many shootas... that's 24 shots each round, enough to kill... anything!

Regular leman russes have 3 HP.

I'd make it bs2 base and you could purchase grot gunners for, say, 10 pts. It'd be not such an obvious pick simply because the big gun forces everything else to snapshoot.

Would also make it not that fast. Just keep it haevy like a regular russ.

Extra shootas and rokkit launchas + ability to shoot different targets is good.

I'd say that 120 - 140 pts for a non-open topped leman russ-like tank with a ton of shots and a nice big gun is fine. Not too good, but not all that bad. I'd probably gravitate towards 125-130 pts simply cause of Don't press dat.
