Hi, I've been on Dakka for a few months now and posting smaller bits on an Introduction thread that was probably meant to start in the P&M blogs section instead.

Here I'll be posting phots of my Tau while I work on them and when I build them, I haven't got round to doing much over the Holiday period due to spending Christmas with my family and the rest of my Tau Force being the others-side of the country in my cabin on base...however, I did get a Supremacy Armour Titan as a centre piece to my army, so first, I guess I'll put phots of that monster up first...enjoy

Any comments and feedback will be appreciated, I'm not new to the hobby but I'm relatively new to Tau after only having a few dozen games with them with different lists mosts of the time and not being a regular player due to work. I do have other armies, I have 1000pts of Daemons, 3500-4000pts of Blood Ravens and 300-3500pts of Black Legion and yes...I prefer 40k haha

Here are some progress phots of my Supremacy Armour, it was a relatively easy kit to build, fewer components that I thought and no defects on the components at all which is good as it was my first large FW order and a little end of year present to myself

I built it over the course of a weekend, then the following weekend with my magnets having arrived, of which they were 6x2 mm and 8x2 mm, so I proceeded to place them where the instruction booklet said on the arms and in the sockets for the arms on the torso, then with the magnets that I had left, I drilled out the parts where the torso and the legs meet and placed magnets there, then I drilled out the pulse drivers and the rail that sits on the shoulders and used the remaining magnets up.

The following weekend I then sprayed and began painting, here are the phots in that sequence minus the building part, I didn't take any I don't think...

I'm thinking of getting more XV9 Hazard Crisis suits however, I'm going to invest in three Tau Flyers first and some of the new kits so I can make the most of the Kauyon campaign missions and the Mont'ka campaign missions when I finally get around to playing them.

I still have a third Piranha to build, a Ghostkeel, a new Commander and Shadowsun. Haven't purchased the flyers yet.

Hi there, not been posting for a little while but that's because I've been busy working on this beast...nearly done, just got to do some detailing, maybe have a go at OSL, do some weathering on the feet and weapon barrels then finish the shoulder mounted guns.

I added some light looking bits on the Tri Axis Ion Cannons on each arm to show the weapons readiness state, green for clear to fire and red for recharging/overheated and I did it in a way to match the posing of the model, I think it turned out quite well.

Also used shades on the pipework on the base, and the dying Guardsmen to make it look a little more realistic and not so cartoony and bright,
