Hey mates. Currently working on a few conversion ideas to field my Airbourn Imperial Guard Army, and in doing so I have been online searching for various bits and ideas to field them. From looking around, I have stumbled across Anvil Industry and to be honest they have a very impressive array of models and kits that can be used with a lot of the current Imperial Guard Miniature Range. At the moment, this is what I have planned:

* Cadian Heads w.Respirators or Republic Grenadier Heads (Which ones do you all like better)?

* Cadian Shock Troop Torsos

* Republic Grenadier Legs

* Scion Arms and Hot-Shot Lasguns

* Elysian/Imperial Guard Grav-Chutes

Granted it would be a bit expensive, but nothing that would break my bank thankfully and that is why I am tempted to do this. Just wanted your thoughts to see if you think this would work out and look good at the end result, or do you think or know of any better options I would greatly appreciate it. Thanks again mates.

I like it! I have no idea how it will go together, probably well, so I say do one squad to start and then go from there.

Thats how I see it. Would you say go with the Cadian Heads or do you think the Republic Grenadier heads would be worth it?

I would go with the cadian heads since they have respirators on them actually.

Hmm you make a good point, only issue is that they are really hard to come by separately, as the only way to get them is from Forgeworld and I have to buy everything else that comes with them. Unless you know of anyone or a pace other then ebay or Forgeworld to where I can get some Heads that would fit with this conversion.

Forge world does the cadian special weapons squads that have the respirators. But the heads are sculpted onto the torso. There's three torsos with either a meltagun or plasma gun and three without arms. They work pretty well with grenadier legs.
