Hi Guys, I am making good progress on my Ork force but need suggestions on basing them. Was considering the red mechanicus style cracking paint or snow perhaps. Suggestions welcome please.

Pics are a little shoddy but everything looks good none the less. I feel like desert orks are more common than snowy works, I'd probably say snowy orks would be more interesting and stand out a little more.

Can't see much but the bigger models are looking good! Very nice muted/dirty tone. I like my Bad Moonz to be bright and shiny but I appreciate the different apprach!

If you're looking for an alternative to just red Martian Earth you should check out the GWTV youtube channel. They have a tutorial on how you can use it to make a good looking lava base.

Also where did you get the mek/vehicles in the back? Are the FW or kitbashed?

Thanks guys for the feedback. Mazik765, they are Marauder buggies from the mantic range, it's around around $30 AUS for 3 if them and the Mek is from the same range.
