Hey mates. Looking to get a Steel Legion Army and while I have some Steel Legion models incoming, just have a few questions about the Death Korps of Krieg models. While I know the DKOK models are thinner compared to the Cadian Shock Troops, what is there model size comparison between them and the Armageddon Steel Legion? Reason I ask is because I am aware the Steel Legion models are a bit smaller then the Cadians and I am looking at getting some DKOK Grenadiers to field as my Steel Legion Storm Troopers.
If anyone has any pictures to show the difference I would appreciate it and thanks again.

I took the following pic today. From left to right:
GW Kasrkin - DkoK guardsman - Steel Legion trooper - Artizan WW1 German
Automatically Appended Next Post:
As you can see, the Dkok trooper (leaning forward, not upright like the others) is a little thinner and more "true scale" than the others. Unfortunately I didn't have a Grenadier for comparison, since that's what you were asking for.
I think they'd fit, but they'd be much less bulky (thinner), and overall probably a little taller.
The Artizan ww1 German is probably a better fit, being between both in terms of scale/size. It appears taller due to the integrated base.
Hope that helps

Thanks a lot mate, this really does. From what I have seen, the Grenadiers are little bit bulkier than the standard Death Korps of Krieg infantry so either way I think this will work out very well.

I think you're correct. The Grenadiers have the carapace armor and are a little bulkier. I really love the Dkok models, lots of detail and character, if a little fiddly to assemble.

+1 on that. I am building up a DKOK army and oh my god, especially the troopers are a pain in the neck when it comes to, bending, greenstuffing and making sure nothing breaks when cutting the sprue off.
Love the models though, can't help it

Let me see:
1) Head/body/legs one piece
2) right arm w weapon
3) left arm (no hand) - make sure you keep the L and R's together
4) Backpack
5) shovel/bayonet (some w separate bayonet to put on rifle)
6) ammo pouch
7) frag grenade (tiny!)
8) krak grenade (tiny!)
9) right shoulder armor (tiny!)
I'm pretty sure that's everything. So 9 parts PER MODEL, including small fiddly pieces of resin. :-)
But they sure are pretty when done. I've got a load of them, and finally getting around to putting them together, plus the artillery pieces, which really drew me to them.
At first I was afraid of the resin, but as I took my time, I've become pretty good at getting them cleaned up. Still, if you snag a shovel or thin bit, they're fragile and come right off.

It's funny though, I hardly see anyone actually using all the parts. I'd say half of the pics online don't even have the backpack (which I find reasonably since the cloth on the back is so well sculpted and the backpacks seem to never come out 100% nicely casted). Probs to anyone who goes all the way... especially with the fiddly bayonets.
