Hey mates, as you know I have been working on my own unique Airborne/Air Assault Imperial Guard Regiment and as it stands, I plan to primarily use Cadian Models for the entire upper body (torso, arms, weapons, etc). As for the legs, I am looking to use a more armored look that would fit an Air Assault Regiment better and these are the two options I have to choose between at the moment:

* The Republic Grenadier Legs from Anvil Industry.

* Combat Armored Legs from Maxmini.

Which do you think would look better with Cadian Torsos, arms, legs, etc? Appreciate the help.

They both look good. Similar enough that if you wanted you could probably mix them into the same unit and it would look fine.

Individually, however, the Anvil Industry legs give off a slightly more high-tec vib. While some might really go for that, in the 40k setting and on a human, I feel it is a little misplaced (I'd give the Anvil legs to Vets and Sgts and HQ).

The Maxmini Legs, I feel, match in better with the setting and also the armour plating of the torso.

In the end I advise going with what feels right. If you can afford it, both would be fun for the sake of variance and character

Hope that helps

In terms of style I second what Xendarc said; they're both good options, depends what you're looking for.

I haven't bought any Anvil industries stuff yet, but I do have some Maxmini desert heads for my Tallarn project and I can tell you that the Maxmini casting is superlative. The level of detail is insane and they are incredibly crisp, with zero mould lines or flash. I can literally cut them off the sprue and glue them in place with no prep work at all.

Both good choices. As a third alternative, you could also use CDF legs from Madrobot, which I personally use for custom Kasrkin/Inquisition Stormtroopers.
