Hi all,

It's been a while since I posted here. Here's something I did when I should have been working on my Blood Angels and Night Lords.

It's the first time I've used acrylic medium to thin my paint for the highlights and I'm pretty pleased how it's turned out - though I should and do that I used an airbrush and several washes for the red.

C&c welcome

Cheers

Oddly enough it is accursed in the eyes of the Word Bearers and daemons. It seems the occupant spectaculary failed in some way and now it's ananthema to daemon and psykers (I think they take a Str 5, AP2 hit if it's too close.

I deliberately ignored this background when I painted it as I wanted to still use the glow effect I decided on for my Gal Vorbak.

It was good fun to paint. As there's a lot of detail (particularly parchments) it's easy to overlook some (I missed the parchment on the inside left leg for a few stages)

Also, I used the FW paint-job as a reference - it's a little unclear which bits on the torso are supposed to be gun-metal, when you're just looking at the sculpt.

Hope that helps
