So I've been searching and googling and trying to come up with a scheme for my Slanneshe and thus far nothing has really caught my eye; there's lot s of the standard paint scheme; and its not a bad scheme, but still I'm just not getting any inspiration so far ; so I'd be interested in seeing others.!

Better still if you've combined arms and can show other chaos god colours (although its a rather unique army in that you can have 4 colourpools that don't have to compliment each other in the same army.

Maybe white and gold (yellow) with a few purple accents / spot colours?

The yellow & purple should "pop" nicely. And if you go for golden shades it's more of a decadent feel.

I'm a first time painter and I've had some success with my pretty basic paint style. Here are some examples from my army, it even works nicely on nurgling imo

Quick question for you Corpus, why are your Seekers on round bases?

Haha, were you expecting cavalry bases? The pictures in White Dwarf at the time they were released showed circular bases for 40k, I think, and I've always preferred circular bases to long cavalary bases.

Corpus - whilst the hot pink and red isn't for me it does indeed work well on your minis, esp with the snow bases!

Reavas a nice standard colour scheme there!

Anfaugliir - I've kind of got a metal elements idea kicking around in my head. Khorne with bronze; Nurgle with rusty iron; Tzeentch with steel and then I hit a problem. Platinum or gold would be good "excessive/high value" metals but its returning to the silvery/golden colours that are kind of already present in the other chaos lords.

Indeed I'm at a loss with Slannesh even for things like chariots as to what they'd use for materials.

Here's a picture of my count as Keeper of Secrets. I'm going to have the mc's and heralds have more gold. And then the rest be very pale and grey/black.

Nice I like the effect and the conversion - very demonic!

Out of interest are you using a wash on the gold or letting it be very shiny - it could be the lighting in the photo that is giving it more shine/ brightness than it might otherwise have.

That's mine. Based on the Amethyst Skin for Nu Wa from Smite.

For the Lion and Terra!

Because nothing in the galaxy is black and white, Mankind views the Space Marines as a last resort. The last line. When all else fails. They take up the burden. The noble defenders of Mankind. The last hope.

Or cut out the middleman and just flush some money down the toilet.
