Howdy Dakkanauts. After spending a lot of my time lurking on this website and absorbing a lot of the amazing hobby knowledge that is stored here, I've decided to embark on my first large scale conversion/kitbash attempt. I plan to use Revell's 1/48th scale AH-64 Apache Helicopter kit combined with a Space Marine StormTalon Gunship in order to piece together an interesting, unique version of the Astra Militarum Vulture, which far and away is one of my favorite vehicles rules wise and thematically in the entire Imperial Navy. This is still in the planning stages and I'm going to jump into the conversion full force this coming weekend, but I wanted to carve out a space in this little forum before I started.

I'm putting this little blog together for a couple of reasons. Firstly I'm hoping to draw upon that repository of knowledge to help me get insights in how to better make my conversion work in the way I envision it, second to keep me motivated to keep working on it, and thirdly because I feel like I'll need a little positive reinforcement to keep it moving (which is something that I have seen supplied in abundance on these forums.

Thanks Dakka! And happy converting to everyone.
