So Ive never been into the gaming side of this hobby. For me it was purely a chance to put my imagination into reality. However, my local games workshop has mentioned putting on a series of inq28/inquisimunda style games over the summer, and asked me to take part. Ive always loved the imagination and creations people come up with for these games, particularly, the cool mix of wfb parts to create that gothic look. So after a little thought I decided to knock up a warband and see what happened.

My original plan was to have one of my converted night Lords as the leader, with a ragtag gang of chaos types as a retinue. Jowever, after a little reading i got the impression that full astartes of any kind arent really welcome in these games.

With this in mind I decided that this was probably for the best, as it would get me out of my comfort zone and give me the opportunity to try new things out.

I finally settled on an excommunicated radical witch hunter formerly of the ordo hereticus and his rabble of outlaws and miscreants.

So without further ado, lets go.

First up is one of the henchmen. I love western films, and wanted to create a gunfighting outlaw type.

Hes made from a pair of dark eldar wrack legs, shaved of all the detritus, and a empire flagellant torso, with lots of sculpting between the two to create his duster coat. The arms are flagellant arms, with random hands from my bitsbox. I wanted him to be hip firing and 'fanning' his revolver hammer. I'm still waiting for the revolver to arrive

Something appropriate there as it was western gun slinging games which inspired Inquisitor in the first place!

The hat is sitting way too high on his head, though.

I think that may just be the photo and the curls in the brim. I cant lower it further because it would cover his eyes.

Yeah, that's because of the sharp downward lean on the front of the brim. It's really easy to overdo that, and have to sit the crown of the hat too high as a result. As is, though, the crown is perched right on the very top of his head.

Cool. I think the pose for the hand fanning the hammer is great. Looking forward to seeing it with the pistol.

Next up is a rogue psyker. For this I used a stock empire flagellant (the model i bought this kit for) gave it a quick head swap, and added some bits like chains, and a creepy head thing from the dark eldar wrack kit. I wanted it to look like the head is alive and feeding some unholy substance to the tank on his back.

That's moderately disturbing.
