Fake Englandland

Hello Dakka, Fake Brit here, I am having some issues with my basing on my Battletech minis. I have them painted up in a simple foresty Tiger Stripes pattern(shown below)but I'm having some issues with my basing. I want to base them with a similar green on the base, flock most likely, but I don't know what is the closest green to what I'm using.
Paints are GW Death World Forest, Nuln Oil wash, and the stripes are Zandri Dust

Shadowrun is the best game ever. It's the only thing I have ever played in which I have jumped out of a shot out van with a chainsaw to cut a flying drone in half before leveling a building with ANFO assisted by a troll, a dwarf, an elf, and a wizard.

Honestly I'd take your Zeus to the model store and check out what they have side by side, but also Army Painter has a large variety. Another suggestion would be to PVA glue the flock and then paint it once dry with the colors you desire.

I think Woodland Scenics' Fine Turf (Earth) would match that colour scheme. I have a bag here and it looks really close. (It's a green not a dirt, case it's not obvious) I would very much suggest taking it with you and comparing though.

Also, really, I'd suggest using a different colour, like a sand, or "dead grass" instead to help make your models stand out more, and it'd match the zandri dust stripes.

Unless of course you're just dead set on them all being the same colour on the base I can see if you're going for a camo type look that might be what you want to do.

Anyway, just a suggestion

Thanks, I'll probably take a look for that the next time I'm at the LGS, I would normally be all set on having a base to help my minis stand out, but with the camouflage scheme I'm going for, I want them on similar bases
