Okay, making a Silver Tower painting thread!
To start off, got my Blue and Brimstone horrors painted today. One Pink is almost done, the other only has a base coat done. And now...the men (daemons) of the hour...

Reality is a nice place to visit, but I'd hate to live there.

Sorry for multiple edits and pictures and whatnot...it kept duplicating a single pic.

Well done. Mine Stormcast is taking forever. Argh. But I am trying now. One step at a time.

Trust me, no matter what damage they have the potential to do, single-shot weapons always flatter to deceive in 40k.                                                                                                       Rule #1

I'm almost done de-flashing mine. (Haven't even finished painting the starter set...)

I'm loving the ST model bases in particular. Can anyone provide tips on replicating them (for a newbie)? Are they something like Citadel texture + plasticard for the rocks?

Still waiting for mine! ...I am a very slow assembler too but I'm eager to have this game up and running.

I have so much stuff from Advanced Heroquest that will get some use finally though.

Next addition is in. The silver bits on his gold jewelry are incomplete as they will be getting the GW gem paint added over them. Runefang steel is a placeholder for now.

Here you go, my first from the set I just adore the models from this box.

Lots of fun -- almost all the shading on it is airbrushed. About the only place I used a wash was on the head of the weapon.
