Hey guys !

Being a massive 40k Death Guard collector in the past, when Typhon was released..he was purchased .. but I wasn't confident in my abilities to do him up and so he gathered dust in the box for years.

Being a little inspired by the current 30k Range ( which I've never played or collected, but looks pretty cool ) I got him out and got to it !

He managed to capture me completely, and painted this guy up over the course of about 2 or so days.

Pretty proud of the result and glad I waited. Looking forward to improving further !

Love the brighter white on his armor, many choose to make him super rusted and trashed, but I like to see this as a pre-heresy Typhon. Well done!

ah nice!...it does make a nice change to see him looking kinda clean, and with the bare head too...turned out nice!

haha...your story sounds pretty similar to mine with this guy...my brother got it for my birthday in april last year, but I was too scared to mess it up...then one day earlier this year I just randomly went mental on it and pulled an all-nighter...I went a bit grungier on mine though, and used the helmeted head, because I wanted to use him as typhus in 40k games...urgh...I never did get around to finishing his fancy base though...I must get around to that...

I'll raid your Gallery and look for a pic some time (2am now!) but you definitely should finish that base, makes a world of difference, i'd love to see it !
