hey guys. i have been working on my magnetized bloodthirster. still working on the whip and need to add some blood for the blood gods to the weapon.

but im having trouble on what to do with the base and am looking for some ideas to uses.

also looking to see what people think so far

anyone know of maybe a good lava idea?

The simplest lava base method I've seen is painting the flat base in "lava" (orange, red, yellow) colours, and then going over the top with a "crackle" paint (either from a 3rd party or GW's Agrellan Earth) so that when the paint causes the cracking effect, lava shows through.

Haven't use it meself though, should be several tutorials online though.
