GKV1282 "Contingency" Pacification Battlesuit - Callsign "Iridium Dawn"

Battlefield Role:

The GKV1282 "Contingency" Battlesuit is a heavily modified pattern of the recently deployed KV128 Stormsurge. One would be hard pressed to see the resemblance, as the degree of repurposing is quite extensive. Instead of providing fire support from across the battlefield (Though it is still capable of this); the Contingency Battlesuit is designed to deliver harsh, unforgiving punishment at close range. Including melee.
It is armed with a variety of armaments to assist it with close-quarters engagements, ranging from Thermal Cutters to oversized Onager Gauntlets. It can also deliver death from afar with its compliment of Missile racks and a Pulse Driver Cannon. It also contains an integrated Shield Generator, while the suits functions are driven by two Fusion Reactors (Situated in the shoulders) and a hull-mounted Cold-Fusion Turbine. This allows the suit to endure a large amount of punishment before its systems are overwhelmed.
The GKV1282 was commissioned to assist in repelling Tyranid Bio-Titans which were found to be accompanying Hive-Fleet Typhon in an unprecedented amount. The surge in Bio-Titans being deployed led to crippling breakthroughs in Tau front lines. An answer was needed. Earth-Caste Engineers quickly began modifying the now obsolete KV128 into a countermeasure for the ongoing fight for survival...
The first prototype - code named "Iridium Dawn" - stood as a testament to the Earth-Caste's engineering feats. Live field testing occurred soon after: The suit was ready. It was first deployed in the conflict of [Information lost], against a wave of Tyranid Bio-Titans. The Contingency prevailed. Victory after victory was achieved along the front; a new dawn had set upon the battlefield. Iridium Dawn.
