Hey, i got a second set and i was looking get more creative with the ideas.

im doing them as space wolves and was looking for some good examples of conversions and maybe the parts used if you don't mind.

Green stuff fur, and stuff probably

also add all the extra bits from 40k spacewolves like those talismans and shields and stuff.

also probably use a lot of the extra detail transfer sheets as well for good measure.

other wise not sure. i dont think there are many mk4 bits in any space wolves kit so you might need to green stuff or carve knots or what nots into the model it self.

also any extra bits use them to model filty red traitor magicians all over the base

The only real conversion I did out of my box was a simple weapon swap on the TDA captain. While not a legal load for 30k, it’s a much better blender build for 40k.

Carefully cut off the c-melta, and add a set of lightning claws from the BaC box to the back of the hand.

I’ve seen a lot of nice work done with the chaplain HQ. A few weapon/headswaps and he turns into completely a different guy.

Man if you can get the other hand as a lightning claw it would be a REALLY cool HQ

add fur trim and it could easily be a wolf claw lord something wolf wolf.

im planning to replace the terminaitor captains head for a space wolf one, cut and some adjustment i can manage it with some time.

Swapping out the chainfist is going ot be a right pain, so keeping that part., shame, the combi can, thinking a second ccw, while not fully legal, makes a great rule of cool captain.

Chaplain, all great ideas, thanks

i have a 40k space wolf kit so i can do some merging, and replace backs, and such.

thanks for the ideas so far.

Dang....
wait... if i cut off the chain blade.
i have some spare claws...

duel claw captain in catapacti could be possible.

I've been doing a fair number of conversions with B@C - I cut the chaplain apart and combined it with the plain back torso piece of a marine to essentially remove his cloak (so I can give him a jumpack). I made a delegatus with a leg repose and a ton of spare bits (pointing SM arm, a fringed leather loincloth from some SW, and a dagger from some Sanguinary Guard).

I think there's a lot of conversion potential since it's all plastic and there's a ton of SM/SW bits you could use.

Swapping out the chainfist is going ot be a right pain

It's actually not too hard, cut the fist off at the elbow then replace the whole forearm and hand with a bit from any other terminator kit (I used the sword hand from a Dark Vengeance termie).

I prefer to buy from miniature manufacturers that *don't* support the overthrow of democracy.

Kinda been busy. Cut back to hand on combo melta, once I trim the chainfist I'm going to work into twin claws. As sugested, wolf it up I've got a fun wolf lord. I'm no way designing them for best combos but fun fluffy models.

Looking good so far jhe!
Crack some fleshtone wash on those golds in his fist, and warm them up a little.
I think it needs a few wolf bits too, they do like putting those fluffy keyrings and pelts on everything.

I actually think you should set your army apart by not making them look like Viking furries. A few runes here and there, a SIMPLE cloak on your hero units, you're good to go. There's a bit of empty space on the from of the MkIV knees and chest plate, I'd glue on a simple gem rune or wolf skull every two or three dudes.

And Il say. I'm using post heresey paint as I prefer to the more metalic grey legion paint scheme.

Il update soonish as I've got first soft tone wash and some bits made up.

While I'm at it. If you play night lords this conversion could be a good hq.

This is the one I converted to a grey knight grand master. Not space wolves I know, but the arm and head changes might be useful;
