So i have been building a tau army for some time now and have yet to find time to paint them.
I had been looking about for a colour scheme that i like when i saw this one:

And i thought it looked amazing! I want to do a very similar colour scheme to this one so i looked around for some firewarrior colours schemes to match it and found this one:

Okay sorry for the bad post, im still figuring out how to use this site! =/

Anyway, i was wondering what colours of GW paints i should use to get a look similar to this?
Also could you give me some indication of steps you would use to paint either of these models in a similar fashion?
Thanks everyone!

Hi, as a quick guide here is what I would do.

- undercoat in white
- paint orange parts Troll Slayer Orange
- paint black parts thinned Abaddon Black

- wash orange parts with Fuegan Orange
- wash black parts with Nuln Oil (maybe 2 coats)
- wash recesses and panel lines of white parts with very thinned grey. I recommend a ratio of 3:1 Lahmian Medium and Mechanicus Standard Grey.

- highlight Orange by mixing in increasing amounts of White Scar into the Troll Slayer
- highlight the black with the Mechanicus Standard Grey and then again (dotting the corners) either with a lighter shade like Administratum Grey or by mixing in White Scar.
- highlight the white by dotting the corners with White Scar.

Thanks for the speedy and very insightful reply!
I think that method sounds amazing! Thankyou!
Though i was considering washing the recesses of the white parts with agrax earthshade to give them a more earthy worn look?
Do you think that would work?
