Subject: Painted Space Marines "Ultramarine" Venerable Dreadnought.
I like the armor's blue and the weathering, but I think a different colour for the plasma cannon's coils would have helped - even if it was a very light/off white blue.

You are probably right. Maybe a lighter color, or maybe red or green. Most illustrations of plasma cannons/guns I have seen look to be a light blue color.

Subject: Painted Space Marines "Ultramarine" Venerable Dreadnought.
A quick Google search shows that the GW scheme for Ultramarines is green, but I think that a the off white sound suit your scheme better because green does not feature in it prominently.
