Can we get something next to these to establish scale?

They're roughly the same height as a 40k 28mm model. So...wider, but it's about 28mm tall.

The Brood Lord is my favorite of the bunch. Gross and wet looking. Perfect for an alien space bug.

Thanks! Although I have to admit, I love how my Imperial Fist colors have turned out (I use the same style on the regular marines). My favorite from the first bunch (in my gallery) were the Ratling who is full of character, and the first assassin.

Very nice! I really like the terminator and brood lord. The yellow really pops, and the red and blue does look quite appropriately Tyranid-y and slimey.

Quick question: have you played much of the game associated with the busts? If so, how is it?

It's really exciting to see that there's a 40k board game poking about! A lot of our friends are really hesitant to try any wargaming, but they are all big into board games. So I was thinking this might be a good thing to grab to share 40k with everybody.

Not to mention, paintable board game tokens sound super fun!

Word of caution on Relic; it's part of the ending license between FFG and GW. You can still get it, but it's tough. Try FFG directly. The game is fun, but it's a 3 hour game. I quite enjoy it. If you've played the old Talisman (or the new one!) game, it plays like that, but fixed mechanics; you usually have a choice which "class" you fight in-combat, willpower, or intelligence. 6s also "explode" giving you increased attack damage, but it also works for enemies. The terminator ignores opposing 6s, so he's powerful on the defense. All in all, if you like the play style, the game is great fun. If you hate the monopoly play style of going around in a board to make yourself a dominating force, it won't work well. But it's easy to learn, even for non gamers.
