Hey man! Is this one of your first minis? Do you want some advice? We're here to help you know!

Before we get to that, do you mind if you take the pic from a 45 degree angle so we see the top down perspective as well? A little lighting wouldn't hurt either.

If you can't believe in yourself, believe in me! Believe in the Dakka who believes in you!

Sure thing, i'll see if I can find any torches I don't have an actual camera to take the pics, and for the quality i'm afraid I might not be able to help that, and yes I am a new painter ^^.

Outer Space, Apparently

Well nobody starts off good when it comes to painting, unless you've been blessed by the Emperor himself

Try taking some shots near a light source in the daytime, like a window; put the model up against a wall too so that the camera doesn't try to focus on background objects, or just use a sheet of paper for a rudimentary light box

Just don't be like me. Quit every time and then get nothing done for almost 20 years. Just keep at it and don't worry about your minis being as good as we see here and other sites. You will never get anything done if you do.

By the way it does look good. Then again, is that what happens when we go to a bar, start drinking and the lights are dark in the bar that person looks sexy to you?

Agies Grimm:The "Learn to play, bro" mentality is mostly just a way for someone to try to shame you by implying that their metaphorical nerd-wiener is bigger than yours. Which, ironically, I think nerds do even more vehemently than jocks.

Everything is made up and the points don't matter. 40K or Who's Line is it Anyway?
