Hi all,

Back after a good few years break from gaming and decided to jump back in with some kill team lists (which I'll hopefully expand later).

This is my showcase for my Genestealer cults. Really look for any feedback on how I can improve. Particularly, I'm trying to keep a gritty endless-war feeling to all my models without making them look too dull.

Here's my Genestealer Patriarch. Not the first model I painted but think it showcases the effect I'm aiming for best.

Thanks

I really like the colour scheme on the genestealer cults. Particularly the Goliath.

The weathering on the Goliath really gives the impression that the machine has been used in the mines for years

That is a really nice job. I love the Tiberium-like crystals in the back of the Goliath. The Goliath weathering looks great. You haven't overdone it and it adds character.

Thanks for the feedback!

The green crystals I've incorporated into my theme. I'm imagining them as some kind of crystal miners on an Mars like planet. The green gloss effect on the crystals I've reused on all their lights / visors etc. and I made glass helmets on a couple with the same colour to simulate they use that material on their equipment as they have access to it. Probably wont be noticed by most when I'm playing but it adds a nice flash of colour on every few models.

Thanks again for the feedback.
