This is my latest work.
Pictures not shrunk or edited, so be prepared for the scare of your life
Two pictures was taken with a flashlight each to not hide the truth, the other is a more normal lighting.
Joke aside, this is currently kind of the best I can do.
Not bad by any stretch of imagination, but... I still do not feel REALLY satisfied with it. Ah who am I kidding, I'm switching between "I... think I can like them" to "god. I need to strip EVERYTHING and start over!"
I think I can paint a reasonable
SM by now, but these models are an entirely different beast. So many nooks and cranies and rivets and hoses and other tiny details...
I know I need to improve my brush precision, but that comes with time.
I want to learn to use oil washes for a cleaner look, but I had some bad experiences with it and need to gather my guts for that.
So by looking at these - what would be the next step in improving my painting skills?
