It is worth all those Space Wolves dying. This is the happiest I've been in awhile, but I guess that shows how dull my life is.

The big question is that if the Changeling could impersonate Chapter Masters perfectly all this time and had the inclination to hand out big players' dirty secrets why hasn't he been doing that constantly? Why weren't the Blood Angels purged on grounds of tainted gene-seed thousands of years ago, for instance?

The Changeling works under Tzeentch and is therefore not logical. None of the Chaos Gods are logical...

Are you suggesting that the universe would be more stable if the Imperium was purging Space Marine Chapters left and right?

So that's DA background basically destroyed then...

I used to have a DA army a long time ago, luckily I don't have one any more or I would be livid.

That the End Times are coming and the Primarchs are waking up? Don't worry, there'll be a lot more to be livid about still to come. The Eldar have yet to be wiped out and replaced completely by the Wraithguard army, the Custodes have yet to reveal there have been ten million of them hiding on Terra this whole time so they can come out and take over the whole business of Space Marining and being on all the posters, the Imperial Guard have yet to be squatted for not being big enough.

(For those who are now terrified I'm making sardonic references to AoS, not making actual predictions. Hopefully none of this will come to pass.)

Well, I was hoping for a loyalist primarch would return, or show his face at least. I'm sure with Fenris mostly dead, the wolves will find a way to either "fix" there geen-seed or make to where they can recruit anyone or at least have a more broad selection.

Khorne laughing. Sweet.

One wonders how Grimnar is being warped by using the weapon, but that is a story (or plot armor explanation) for another day.

I'm pretty terrified of where this plot progression is going and what 8th will involve. I'll be keeping up with it all with a 70/30 mix of trepidation and excitement. Somebody hold me close and tell me it will all work out

They've set up a lot of the Primarchs to return in some way, most of them fairly obviously (sleeping with wounds slowly healing, lost and prophesied to return in his Legion's hour of need). The only three that would require more handwaving are Sangunius (Mephiston is slowly turning into him because of some psychic technobabble), Horus (either the Chaos Gods are going to make Abaddon into a giant or one of his clones is going to kill Abaddon and take his stuff back), and Ferrus Manus (not certain but I've heard Fulgrim had him cloned a few times, maybe one of his clones will escape).

Wacky concatenation of circumstances: Leman Russ and the lost 13th Company have been in the Eye of Terror looking for Fulgrim's planet so they can beat him up and rescue the latest Ferrus clone!

None of those would have his soul though.

So I´m a Wolves..

Let me see if I got this right..

Cons..

We lost Midgardia
We Lost Egil
We Lost the most population on Fenris (How much, we don´t know, do we have to go elsewhere to find new recruits? Not so sure, because they could have choose to destroy Fenris instead)
We Lost credibility as Chapter

Cons
We kicked Magnus out
We Didn´t turn Exile (Not Kicked from of the Empire)
We didn´t go to full war with DA (Maybe we can put that behind us now)

Tabletop
A lot of cool new stuff and attachment.

Lets see what happens in the future..
But what about the new "Prospero" ?

Best Regards!

There "spoilers" sound like a direct continuation of the "Da vs Fallen next year" rumour that was confirmed fake.

Yes, It´s starting to get annoying that things that are real are getting debunked..
But the Dark Crusade are ongoing, so this is a tie ?? Loyalist took a hard hit and so did Heretics..
But it´s obvious loyalist needs big reinforcements to stand a chance in the long run..
Primarchs, Legio Custodes Etc..

Ok I’m just going to say this before people start running around shouting that the sky is falling. The spoilers regarding the Dark Angels and the fallen is just a retelling of what happened during the legacy of Russ series. The Changeling planned to free the fallen and reveal the Dark Angels secret to the Imperium in order to course further discord amongst the loyalist forces but was stopped by the Watches in the Dark before he could accomplish his goals. He was then found and defeated/banished by Azrael, Captain Stern and Ragnar Blackmane.

So please don’t spread this rumour as if it is fact, at least until we have a better understanding of the situation.

Oh and about the axe wasn’t it always said to be a chaos weapon? Is it really surprising that it was an axe of Khorne who is kind of known to favour such weapons?

Well the relictors train and use chaos weapons and they are t corrupt. So it's possible, though I doubt the space wolf spends anytime trying to 'spiritually' prepare himself to use it.
Gauntlets of ultramar are also a once chaos champions weapon, now reforged.

The axe specifically being being khornes axe is odd wording, unless you consider all khornate things belonging to him.

this all sounds suspiciously like the end times books for WFB. Eh, bring it on I guess, hopefully they at least stretch it out for a much lengthier amount of time than WFB had.

I can deal with the terrible naming because it is very cheeky and I don't care about that. Outside that, they're obnoxious and are self-righteous. Especially the whole Armageddon thing where the Grey Knights and Inquisitors ARE in the right.

I didn't read it, but is this the guy who had Draigo carve his name into his heart?

If so, is Draigo's name visible on the model? Did they work that detail into the model?

No that would be Mortarion the Nurgle one.

It reads (bearing in mind that as the early account(s) of Death Masque proved beyond question, not necessarily accurate!) like the Space Wolves end up deployed to the Cadian Gate in much the same manner as they were during the Eye of Terror campaign (ie. Chapter strength to Cadia itself).

 Pouncey wrote:

1) Wrong Primarch.
2) Draigo doesn't carve his name in Mortarion's heart.

Okay, so when the right Primarch gets his model, will the name carved into the Primarch's heart be visible on the model's exposed heart?

The heart is extremely unlikely to be exposed. It was carved on a Deamon Primarch Prince of Nurgle, who is likely to have healed it over (or have it covered by intestines/bloated flesh/armor/robes).

Also, if he could get his sword onto the Primarch's heart enough to carve a name into it, why didn't he kill the Primarch?

Do Primarchs not need their heart to live or something?

He was a Daemon Prince at the time, which are near effectively immortal as when they die they tend to just go back to the Warp to regenerate.
