Started yesterday and finished these today. They're pretty simple, utilized washes followed by detail work.

Reality is a nice place to visit, but I'd hate to live there.

Very nice. Just started a unit of 30 myself. Doing a similar approach. Started black with a white drybrush so they are darker to start out.

Very nice. I just started a unit of 10 for my son, using a similar technique but different colors.

Thanks guys. I had ones a bit different in color, but my girlfriend loved these (no, seriously, she likes Plaguebearers and who am I to argue??). So all of mine will be similar to these. Plus, it's just fun to paint with multiple levels of washes; no matter what you do, no two identical pieces of plastic can turn out the same in appearance cuz of the flow of the washes, the angle the model is held at while it runs, etc. It gives awesome possibilities.

They look great! I really like the contrasting yellow buboes/pustules! Really makes the models stand out!

They look fine to me. I like the one with the insectoid head

I had to look twice as they're so similar to how I painted mine. Gotta say I really enjoyed painting these for the exact reasons you did, washes suit these miniatures down to the ground.

I've been playing a while, my first model was a lead marine and my first White Dwarf was bound with staples

Changeling finally gets a paint job. I've had this guy since his original release in metal.
