Hi all,

Quick question i have been using the retributor armour spray and i'm not sure the colour is coming out right. I've been looking at the painting rubric marines warhammer tv guide and the colours don't match at all.

Is there a specific trick to getting this paint to work?

I've attached two photos one of my model and one from the sprayed GW version just as he's applying a shade

Any help would be great.

I've found that painting my Stormcast is that the spray and the paint are 2 different colours. You may have to try 2 coats, not sure if that reinforces the colour. Chances are though that after highlighting the gold base won't matter too much.

The paint looks like the gold shown on the video, so you might have to try that.

Yea i have the paint and that is what it comes out like i was just confused as warhammertv were saying that sprayed it but the colour coming out of my can and theirs is nothing alike

Not the end of the world just kinda means it was a waste of money slightly haha

I find the paint has both shades - the greenish pale gold if you don't mix enough and the warm copper gold if you mix properly. Perhaps try shaking the absolute nutbuggery out of your can before spraying will do similar?
