Getting the last of my tactical marines finished for my Demi-Company, 15 in total. Then I'm finishing up the last couple coats on my Interrogator-Chaplain, and photographing this months finished projects for the 'Tale of however many Painters' thread over on the P&M Blogs, and photographing my entire 40k army for my own blog.

Primed:
3xUCM Sabres (the plastic ones)
3xUCM Fireblades
Assembled:
The Cygnar plastic starter set (PStryker, Charger, Lancer, Ironclad)
Due to the extra work that had to go into the assembly, didn't have time to paint my UCM Scimitars that I had primed last week.

Had a most productive day painting. Finished off my Malifaux Widow Weaver and Teddy. To be fair, the Teddy just needed some highlighting, but the Widow Weaver was only about 1/4 done.

More on a 15mm God of War artillery battery, will admit to starting to get fed up of painting 15mm Soviets now.
Also started topping some models for Pulp Action that needed painting badly.
So badly painted they were..
She actually looks better at normal distance but up close you can tell the Sunset Red was like painting with putty.

Putting together some OMON (Post-Soviet internal police) from Wargames Factory's Spec Ops set. I'm not sure about the camel backs they're wearing, but the AKs and Soviet gas mask I'm sculpting on them should make them passable.
They started out as regular state forces, till I just have to give them bloody gas masks. They'll be for S.T.A.L.K.E.R. mostly, and to go along with my mess of irregular Eastern European forces for modern games.

Had a go at upscaling a Space Marine earlier... it's actually gone surprisingly well. He's not as massive or complex as some, but he's considerably bulked up, particularly compared to human models. Can't see myself doing it again, the process was a bit of a pain and outside of diorama pieces or one-offs, I can't see it being that useful. Good to know I can make it work, though, and it should make a nice entry into next month's challenge.

It was International Tabletop Day!
Mine started with running an intro game of Marvel Universe.
I was playing as the Avengers for the first time and they did rather well against the X-Men, including Black Widow taking out a badly wounded Wolverine.
I then joined into a huge 4 player game of the Batman Miniatures Game. - My Ninjas did... not do well. This included Ra's Al Ghul taking 3 clips of an assault rifle to know him out of the game.
That was the day's play, then in the evening it was less wargamey and more tabletopgamey.
A quick game of starflux, including last years TabletopDay cards! Then followed by a Cash'n'guns tournament - Which I won!
Finally, we finished the night with pub-quiz styled Geek Out. We were doing well, clear in the lead but we flew too close to the sun and lost by failing to name 14 animated ducks. - We only got to 10.
Overall a great day and great fun! Seriously though, 14 animated ducks without google is really, really hard....

At some point today I hope to add the decals to my World Eaters legion tactical marines and starts on the weathering. If I have time after that I'm going to start working on my Deimos predator. I have to finish the ones I have before I'm allowed to buy any more

“Because we couldn’t be trusted. The Emperor needed a weapon that would never obey its own desires before those of the Imperium. He needed a weapon that would never bite the hand that feeds. The World Eaters were not that weapon. We’ve all drawn blades purely for the sake of shedding blood, and we’ve all felt the exultation of winning a war that never even needed to happen. We are not the tame, reliable pets that the Emperor wanted. The Wolves obey, when we would not. The Wolves can be trusted, when we never could. They have a discipline we lack, because their passions are not aflame with the Butcher’s Nails buzzing in the back of their skulls.
The Wolves will always come to heel when called. In that regard, it is a mystery why they name themselves wolves. They are tame, collared by the Emperor, obeying his every whim. But a wolf doesn’t behave that way. Only a dog does.
That is why we are the Eaters of Worlds, and the War Hounds no longer."
