Ok, we've talked about it in the 40k general, people have asked about doing it, and I got a cheap one ($80) arriving today. So I'm gonna start showing off my work on it. I already got a jump start on the sword, using my standard Glottkin that is painted up normally for size decisions. Sword pic here first, and it'll have a hand sculpted around it, just as I did for the hand for my KoS last week. I figure this'll take about 4 hours of actual sculpting, and 20 hours of waiting.

It continues. Still no Glottkin on my doorstep though.

Now that's a nice looking sword! How hard is it to create those shapes from Green Stuff?

And the body arrives!! Posting up cuz of alternate head. Came from one of the Nurgle beast rider guys in the End Times. VERY minimal green stuffing necessary. Just skip the head and jaw piece. But make sure you use the neck bit. The fly from that kit fits on the brother's right foot placement, and a sitting nurgling takes the other spot. Fill in the holes from the torches and such with green stuff from below. Don't attach too piece yet. Mine is just resting in place currently.

And the sword hand is making progress!
