I'm not sure why I ever thought this would be a fun project, but I'm knee-deep in it, none-the-less.

50% Tyranid Venomthrope and 50% Tyranid Ravener. 100% wanting to blow my brains out right now. lol.

Lots of cutting, shaping and slathering on copious layers of Liquid Green Stuff.

After I attached the lower Scything Talons, I discovered that there is almost no way to attach double sets of Lash Whips onto their upper torsos. Way to plan ahead! I'm in the process of just filling the lower sockets and I guess I'll just re-paint the area. They still look menacing even if they are going to be missing a set of Lash Whips.

Anyway, I like the way they look and everything, but this project turned out to be a lot more work than I bargained for. I don't think I'll ever do it again. I'll post more pics when I'm actually finished. Anyone have any thoughts or general musings?

Looks great! Always like seeing scrap builds.
One question though: where are the heads? Or are those supposed to be gaping maws?

Hahah. Still working on the heads and the Lash Whips. I'll post better photos of the completed project when I have a day off of work. -_-
