So I set myself a challenge a while ago and over the last ear or so I have slowly but steadily been working on getting a board together for me and my friends to play on, during the year i have posted up pics of a fountain i made as a center piece for my board and following from that i have spent the last few weeks making this (I Know most people spend a weekend and boom have a piece of decent terrain done but with work and real life getting in the way this was a long process to finally get to this stage) I looked at some ideas online,on here and iv learned from mistakes iv made before on previous projects i started years ago. And i can say i really like how this has turned out.

It is just a foam board with some card cut into tiles and corner moldings and window and door arches, i used balsa wood for the parapet edging and window boards and a few pillars inside, for the internal floor i just used some foam board and scored the tile pattern into the board and gently squashed down the edges to give it a bit of depth and a stone tile look to it. i added some bits like a marine helmet and the doors off the top of a rhino to look like the door had been blown in and smashed off its hinges, then i added some sand and cut up spru to resemble bricks and rubble. I also tried to leave pieces of the intact wall and leave visible on the ground partly to leave some level floor space for model placement and also to give the look of the walls collapsing in on themselves. And of course covered the whole thing in polifiller.

Now that i have reached this stage of the model Can you guys suggest anything i could add to the terrain to give it even more of a pop before i start to paint, i dont want to add models to resemble dead bodies as i think iv over done that to models iv done in the past and felt i over did it later on. But please feel free to leave some ideas and suggestions on what you guys would think could make this ruin even better. thanks
