Hey guys, so after recently getting back into Warhammer 40k and being a long time lurker I figured starting a PM blog would help me stay motivated and help me improve my painting skills. Anyways onto the actual models here is the start of my Iron Warriors army for 40k, I really like the look of the IW during the Horus heresy so I'm going to be using some 30k stuff I got around as well as using some of the more 40k chaos stuff. So I also started putting together my chaos lord biker for my army, nothing for him is really set as he is kind of just temporarily glued together and he still needs some greenstuff work but I'm liking how he is coming out so far. I have also tried out something different for my Crimson Fists, I wasn't really a fan of how dark most CF are painted so I decided to try something a bit different and try a more metallic look to them. As of now I'm just playing with the idea but I am liking it so far generally.

Loving that Lord on a bike, especially his cloak, awesome idea!

Thanks guys! Hopefully by the end of the night I'll have my 2 5man CSM squads done and updated.

Alright so managed to finish off my 2 squads and their champions tonight. Probably going to start work on my Havoks or Forgefiend next. Having a huge pain finding some autocannons for my havoks so prob just going to give them some melta for my first squad.

Alright so small update, started to put together some melta Havoks tonight. Going to try to assemble the rest of the squad tonight and paint them up over the weekend. Having a huge pain finding some Autocannons for non ridiculous prices so may have to put the other squad on hold until then. But anyways I like how the Havok on the right came out atleast.

So quick update, been a bit busy since I started school but the Havok squad was fully asembled and are almost done being painted. On the SM front, I'm not too sure if I still want to do crimson fists or not. I've already been doing a test paint for the Brazen Claws chapter as well as the Lamenters chapter which I'll post soon.
