Why Aye Ya Canny Dakkanaughts!

My first attempt at OSL on a model using on old Grot field gun I had in my bits box. What do you think? I feel I went a bit over board with the lighting.

Utilizing Careful Highlighting

Photo's a bit rough, but yeah, the green everywhere gives more a mossy or "creepy lighting" feeling, than "shine from this point" I think possibly the sources could use some more picking out? Advice I received on it was to think in terms of line of sight,, plus possibly a slight bit of bloom.

Like Vejut said -- the photography needs quite a bit of work. But that aside, I'd say the lighting needs to be way more extreme. In the current state, it looks very dark. I also can't tell what the base color of the gun is, which may be in part due to the top-down angle of the photo. But I definitely think there's not enough contrast to indicate any light source reflecting from the gun.
