Got back into the hobby last Jan after not thinking about 40k for like 7 years. I used to play CSM but I can't find the models anymore, so I have been building up an ad mech army. I'm actually watching youtube videos to learn how to paint this time around. This is my first finished vehicle ever actually. First time EVER using transfers.

I'm only aiming for the models to look good from tabletop distance, not really going for ultimate perfection. Let me know your thoughts, thanks

Sorry in advance for the sideways pictures!

I really like the contrast of this industrial mech from the barren wastelands of Mars walking on a lush, Earth like plane. It really gives the sense that this thing has come from frickin' space, which is cool

Great job all round!

Thanks! That's actually precisely why I chose a earthy grass base. The idea is that the army is invading another world instead of sitting on Mars.

Good stuff, bud

H.B.M.C.- The end hath come! From now on armies will only consist of Astorath, Land Speeder Storms and Soul Grinders!
War Kitten- Vanden, you just taunted the Dank Lord Ezra. Prepare for seven years of fighting reality...
koooaei- Emperor: I envy your nipplehorns. <Magnus goes red. Permanently>
Neronoxx- If our Dreadnought doesn't have sick scuplted abs, we riot.
Frazzled- I don't generally call anyone by a term other than "sir" "maam" "youn g lady" "young man" or " HEY bag!"
Ruin- It's official, we've ran out of things to talk about on Dakka. Close the site. We're done.
mrhappyface- "They're more what you'd call guidlines than actual rules" - Captain Roboute Barbosa
Steve steveson- To be clear, I'd sell you all out for a bottle of scotch and a mid priced hooker.

You should be proud. The Omnissiah approves of your creation.

Peregrine - If you like the army buy it, and don't worry about what one random person on the internet thinks.
