Went digging through some boxes in need of something to paint and I found these (at-first-incomplete) fellows. With a few hours of time, a bitz box and a whole lot of boredom I think i got them up to a decent TT quality (at arm's length at least they don't look too bad )

That is a very handy brushwork , nice looking unit in white and grey , I always end up not doing big works in white because I always have trouble keeping a good white shade not conglomerating and being dirty looking , you showed that some people can do it the right way , well done

Thank you kindly! I had very limited resources to work with as I'm away at college and only have a small collection of paints, so I just layered white over a dark blue base ad nauseom... most of my work is pretty rudimentary and TT standard so I'm pleased with the way they turned out by that scale, considering I essentially had to throw whatever I could find onto some GK torsos to resemble something remotely playable.

Thanks! Its pretty much just a base-coat and a mixed wash of blue and black. The white and red just takes a few coats of highlights but all in all a very quick fix.

I agree - they look good for a quick paint job. Roughly how long per mini do you reckon?

Tough to say considering I had to stop at one point to go to class before picking up again; I would estimate that it couldn't have been more than two hours of painting and letting it dry on that squad, and I did the work in a batch so by the time i finished a coat on the fourth mini, the first was ready for the next layer. I was kinda surprised by how quickly run of the mill infantry can be completed to TT quality. Its been a while since i last picked up my brushes so I suppose I had forgotten
