Hello all.

So I have acquired a very large Tau force which is already been painted and based. However I am looking to neaten some of the models up and possibly put my own twist on the scheme.

I wanted to ask if what I have done so far (And its not a great deal at all), but want to see if its going in the right direction.

Original is on the right, edited one on the left.

Also looking for suggestions on what colour would go best with the blue.

Cheers all

Get rid of the flock, get/make some texture paint, paint the base rims orange, basecoat the textute paint the same orange but wash it black a couple times, drybrush the texture metal. Basic basing.

Specks of green here and there. Sept markings in black or white.
Some 20p.
Enjoy~

Ps
The base red wasnt washed a second time enough, but just a look at the metal on any colour thing with textures

looks better, but seems like you painted over the hand as well as the armour there. Tau skin is (supposed) to be that darker blue, or at least not the same colour as the armour. good luck!
