That's a pretty as hell Contemptor you have there. Really nice highlights to on all of em. Now finish/paint all that black and details and they'll look great.

Needs some legion numbering to break up the color and give it more detail.

Great paintwork. Don't care for the shade of red, but the brushwork is excellent.

A little word-bearery with the fleshy red... expertly applied though! I may conider a final glaze of red ink to boost the red up more towards a deeper primary oriented red rather than the flesh tint you have now. Not that it doesn't look good, but it doesn't scream BA to me, esp with the black shoulders.

I do see what you mean, hopefully, the Legion decal sheet will make a difference when they finally release it.

I do have some lovely Winsor and Newton Inks lying around, I might push them into the fleshy tones a little more.

I agree with this, the models look fantastic but they don't exactly look like Blood Angels.

Very nicely done indeed. I agree with the above but then again I like my Blood Angels to be the colour of scabs... So maybe I'm not the best one to judge!

An ink glaze will make it insanely intense... Banshee does this when he wants to get a deep, true red, he feels that straight paint doesn't cut it, as the luminiosity only comes out from a white or lighter under paint then the red ink harnesses the brightness to pop far more than conventional paint, even cadmium red can't match the luminosity you can get from it, I saw his Iron man and a few other pieces in person and trust me, the red is stand-out.

I like it, they're not typically BA red, almost a terracotta colour, but then the HH BA seem to be more on the orange side of red from what we've seen so far, so it fits imo.

Not sure about the Word Bearer Compariosn to be honest, always picture their red as either being burgundy/red wine or a deeper regular red.

The blue lenses on the Contemptor are a nice point of contrast, any reason you didn't replicate this on the Tartaros?
