First time making a homebrew chapter. Decided to go for Iron Hands successors, let me know what you guys think!

I like the turquoise color. I feel like there needs to be a little more of it.
Any fluff behind your chapter. I'm starting my own Iron Hands army. I would like to make my own successor chapter as well.

The fluff is essentially them being an Ultima founding, and there sole purpose is to hunt down and face forces of chaos, seeking vengeance for their slaughtered Primarch. Enemies still in fear as if being gazed upon by Medusa herself.

Nice color scheme and a good paintjob.

A lovely restrained and distinctive scheme – I like it a lot.

If you're open to tweaks, then I'd note that silver schemes benefit from large, clean areas of the metallic because it's such a neutral colour – any colour or tonal difference can cause a visual 'break' and distract from the overall effect.

For that reason, I'd suggest that you leave the knees the same silver as the rest of the body to give a cleaner silhouette. Restricting the accent colours to the shoulderpads and head will draw the eye to the area, rather than darting between those and the knees. That'll make the head more of a focal point.
Similarly, I'd suggest you paint the handgrip on the boltrifle the same black as the rest of the casing; in order to give contrast with, and better frame, the hand.

If you're concerned that those changes will make the result too much like Silver Skulls or Iron Warriors, then you might consider going the opposite direction to removing the colour from the kneepads, and extending either the teal or the black over the whole of the lower legs. Alternatively, you might add a single broad, bold stripe (either vertical or horizontal) in the same teal to the shoulder pads.

Those are just suggestions – I hope they're helpful, but if you leave him as he stands, it'll still be a great, striking scheme. Nice one!

Apologist, thank you very much for your insight! I don't want the kneepads to be entirely silver, I will paint them black instead. As for the shoulderpads, I still haven't quite decided what I want to do, but a green stripe might do the trick! I will have another one painted soon.

Ever thought of extending the color to the hands? After all...

That looks fantastic! The helmet colour is so nice, what is it?
And how did you paint the base texture?

Great work, very clean and well put together.
