I prepped and primed a TK chariot and a greenstuffed cultist. I'm trying a tutorial for DA, so I can finally finish those marines without edge highlighting them.

That turned me off of my marines more than once.

Gonna try to work on one of my skirmish forces today. Still not sure who's fated for the brush.

Primed my battletech minis. I got to say that some of them look pretty good while others... did not age well. At all. I'm painting them up in Lyran Alliance colors. More specifically, 7th Lyran Regulars which is army green with tan accents.

I also primed a Rhino for my custom Space Marine chapter. It's going to be bone with medium blue accents. Kind of like the HH Death Guard paint scheme but not nearly as weathered.

I managed to finish my assault lance for Battletech today. Nothing too fancy, just basecoat->wash->drybush basecoat->lightly drybrush highlight->fill in details and base.

Painting my army for an ITC event (1850 pts). Fortunately, there's precious few models in the army. (36 total, I think)

I've got until August 4th or so.

Been horribly lazy with painting last year. Actually after moving to new home zero painting...Whoops.

After assembling new eldars I got(farseer on bike, 2 bikes with shuriken catapults, 1 with shrieker cannon, fireprism, vyper with bright lance, wave serpent with linked scatter lasers, 4 dire avengers+exarch) plus pair of ork dreadnoughts I got today busy for a change with painting. Damn I'm rusty.

Lesson learned: Grey undercoat spray might not have been best of ideas. I figured with eldars I don't want too dark so black wasn't ideal but I don't like white undercoat either as it makes especially metals tough. I figured grey could be nice alternative. Well except I seem to have trouble spotting did it cover model or not! It's too close shade to naked plastic. Bleah!

Blue armour on dire avengers went okay but christ the white helmet. Need to work on white since I'll be doing biel-tan...

Ordered some new paints to combat. Need some light greys from which to build up white properly.

Also seems GW has dropped foundation and edge paint ranges? When did that happen?

Primed a squad of Concord for Antares, having assembled them not planning more of that faction, fitting the arms is horrible.

Also cleaned up some 15mm SS in metal for priming tomorrow, last time I touched these models was 2010, the pain has nearly faded enough I'm willing to try doing my own...

Camo... Especially pea dot camo... in 15mm...

I may be found under the table crying if needed

Does Dagorhir count? It's basically LARP with FAR less emphasis on role play, and more emphasis on high contact fighting. I did that. Got a lot of kills with the spear.

Planning out what I'm going to do as far as painting the contents of my recently acquired (from a friend) Dreadball Xtreme starter set. I'll have to check at my FLGS and see if anyone there actually plays Dreadball before I make it any kind of priority. I hope to also get some paint on my metal Flesh Hounds of Khorne for the monthly painting challenge (seriously, it's the 9th already and I haven't even touched them yet ).

On a surly Warboar, leading the Waaagh!

Up to my knuckles in green stuff and sculpting tools today. I've got 5 larger models that I'd built over the last month and just let sit as they needed some gaps filled and I just wasn't in the mood. Today I was in the mood. 4 hours later...I'm a bit of a perfectionist and I also had to sculpt a missing arm for a Hell Pit Abomination that was apparently lost in action on a table somewhere, but where exactly I have no idea...and all gaps are filled, the HP's arm is looking pretty good and I'm ready to prime. Priming will have to wait until the morning of course, Bourbon and a cigar on the back porch is calling to me.

Skirmish Dag is best Dag. I snuck around people and "skewered" some spines from behind. Having a short sword clipped to my belt helped too for when the fights got close. Some guys, either college freshmen or high school seniors came by and started video taping it. So that should hit YouTube eventually, I'm sure.

Finished assembling 3 thunderwolf cavalry. I dry fitted like 10 times and I still managed to get the arm placement off for the storm shields. Not a fan of how that kit is assembled.

Did some more silver on my stormfang gunship. Oooooooh boy am I not enthusiastic about painting large vehicles. Just trying to speed paint the 1000 points of Space Wolves that I have is hard enough. So much detail and extra fiddly bits that are all different colors compared to your standard marine.

I guess its just been too long since I've had to paint up an entire force since my orks have been all painted for a while. Oh well, back to the grind.

Glossed my X-Men minis and painted Rogue completely. All that is left is Deadpool. And I just need to highlight the black for him, and do all his bloody pouches and toys. So yeah...still a bit of work.
