So I got several sprues of Rogue Trader Space Marines. However, four of the sprues (2 Marines per sprue) had just a stock Bolter, handle and all, not held by any hand or arm piece. Is there a nice clean way of converting those Bolters onto a fist or some not-awkward way of having the Marines actually hold them? (Otherwise I'll totally glue them onto a leg and make some kind of belt out of green stuff to show that the Marines have Bolters, but I prefer my Marines to be holding their best weapons.)

You trim off the pistol grip and attach to an appropriate fist.

Please excuse any spelling errors. I use a tablet frequently and software keyboards are a pain!

They're just an extra, some model them hanging from the belt or attached to the back of a powerfist. Or you could put them on a vehicle. Or you could put a strap on and have it over the shoulder of a marine who is armed with a bolt pistol.

Removing the pistol grip and gluing them to a fist is the way to go. (You often have to file the thumb down to get a nice fit.)

Glad to see someone get hands on the old beakies. 60 make up the core of my force from way back when, but I still have a dozen or so on sprues for when I need to tap into The Olde.

Check this out: modeling tip from 1988.

The brand new battle bike with sidecar: the "Vincent Black Shadow Combo " bike, was Brand spankin'-with-an-eagle-shaped-paddle new. It came with ONE PAIR OF LEGS and ONE ARM, and you had to use your Beakie Sprue Guys as crew.

But that's OK since it only cost 2 1/2 pounds.
Attack bike now is what, $25? Prob more.

I saw this ad when I found online Book of the Astronomican, I think the first 40K supplement book. Back when Marines still only had a Toughness of 3! (I guess they hadn't implanted the Tuffbastardula Gland yet).

But this finally explained to me why all the original Beakies are crouching with constipation; they were sculpted in saddle pose!

Yup, original RTB standing crouch pose was designed so that they could fit onto bikes/jetbikes (bulloch mk1).

I'm OVER 50 (and so far over everyone's BS, too).
Old enough to know better, young enough to not give a ****.

That is not dead which can eternal lie ...

... and yet, with strange aeons, even death may die.
