So basically, I wanted to paint my termagaunt with galaxy armour. I finished it but now I'm having a hard time thinking of what to paint his skin without ruining the galaxy scheme, any ideas would be very helpful, here's pics of what it looks like so far.

Probably a dark grey. Something that will at least define the shape of the skin (and the armour as well) without distracting from the star field.

What is wrong with black? Sucking the life and light out of the world. Looks great as is IMO. Just highlight the edges a bit to pull out the depth. Use some of the same shades you are already using, something cold and still dark. Use bright white for teeth and eyes. And talons. Fade those into blue and black. Fade teeth into your nebula purple pink tone. Looks great.

Nice concept
I suggest a grey; the chitin has enough black to provide contrast so it could work well with a light grey with a hint of blue.
Perhaps try out a test model with grey skin mixed/highlighted with something similar to P3 Frostbite and see if that works for you. And if not, it's easy to cover over

Black, grey and white are probably the once rocking the boat the least.

Grey with a black wash?

Blue with a black wash perhaps.

You should do some test models

Highlight with Midnight Blue... I had to look up GW colours,
Kantor Blue
also these would work too
Dark Purple: Naggroth Night
Dark GreenBLue: Incubi Darkness

these are dark enough you could drybrush them then paint the galaxy.

I want to see a large creature painted with this armour!
