So I started 3 months ago, with a set of terrible quality paints, no experience and a dream.
And I was awful
After spending some time painting my boyz to an equally terrible standard, I moved into my warboss, the pride of my army
And I put everything into it
It took 4 hours but I'm immensely proud of it
More recently I bought a lot more paints, a lot more brushes and did my nobz
So what do you think? How could i improve?

Looking great, for your first few models they look awesome. My advice for a beginner is to look up washes and dry brushing, there both quick and easy techniques that can improve your models by a lot. For example take your warboss, on the red cloth put a red wash on it then take the same red you painted the cloth or slightly brighter red then paint just the folds. Then for the gun/metal put a black wash on the metal/gun then dry brush it leadbelcher or any metal color that you like.

Thanks bro!
Yeah I kinda forgot about finishing my washes on the boss, if you look at his klaw you can see some heavy nuln oil on it,
I'll get on washes for the rest of him at some point
Drybrushing will be a new experience though Automatically Appended Next Post: Thanks bro!

Drybrushing can be a bit tough, if you ever think you have to much paint on the brush, you probably do. There's nothing wrong with having to go back and do multiple drybrushings. When I started painting I cant tell you how many times I had to much paint on the brush.

Haha, well thanks for the advice. Check my work in progress in.. maybe 3 weeks, a month and it will probably document my progress with drybrushing Automatically Appended Next Post: Haha, well thanks for the advice. Look into prepping models correctly. Flash removal is important and it really shows on the magazine of your warboss, even in the dull picture provided.
Speaking of which, work on your photography, it may seem extra curricula but a plain background, focus and lighting is essential when asking for advice on the Internet.
Also look into basing your models properly, it will make a tonne of difference.
Other than that, take on board what others have said, keep practicing, don't be afraid to make mistakes and/or ask questions.
Good work.
