So other ork clans have trim on their armour and weapons in their clan colours,
Deffskullz have blue
Evil suns have red
Goffs have black
Etc
But what colour would you give the trim on blood axes since they don't really have a single colour, (I mean their colour scheme is just whatever militaristic stuff they find and camo)

Anything you want. Blood Axes don't really have a clan colour, just garish attempts at 'camo'

Thanks for the quick reply, I'd like to go for green. But it worries me that orks are a bit too green. Your thoughts?

I think military green actually works.

More but different green actually looks ok.

example of professionally done green on green

I'm doing Blood Axe-ish Orks and getting around the green-on-green issue by using a lot of desert camo and appropriate tones.

I've decided on either
death guard green
Or warpstone green

Warpstone green is a better colour just in terms of making parts stand out from the ork skin
But I can spray death guard green, making it much easier to do vehicles
