Hey guys, just begun a project to convert a Contemptor into a Daemon Prince. While he isn't quite as mutated as most Daemon Princes, that's because it's mostly happening on the inside, with bits spilling out here and there in the form of horns and flesh/tentacles.

The fluff on him is that he's gone senile through his many years as a dreadnaught and suffering Nurgle's diseases, causing him to still believe that he still fights in the time of the Horus Heresy, his men suffering from the same delirium. Facing off against Guilliman, alongside Mortarion, during the Plague Wars has only strengthened that belief.

I originally started painting my Death Guard green, like the recent GW stuff, but after coming up with this dude and his fluff, I'm now painting them in the original Heresy scheme.

I've finished a quick concept and added some colour to see how he'll look, and I'm pretty happy with it. Just ordered the Contemptor from FW so just gotta wait for him to arrive before I can actually begin, but when he gets here I'll start posting up my progress here
